Apple CarPlay acting up

Is there any way to stop CarPlay from always switching to my phone's music when I unlock my car? It remembers I like the radio, but it keeps going back to the last song I listened to. It's so annoying, I have to switch it back every time.
 
This should be easy, you can try disabling autoplay in your phone's music app or CarPlay settings. Or try this, disconnect Bluetooth autoplay to prioritize radio playback.

To fix this, try disabling auto-launch for Apple CarPlay in your car’s settings under “Connectivity” or “CarPlay.” Then, on your phone, go to “Settings” > “CarPlay” and adjust whether it defaults to the last app used. Finally, set your preferred media as the default in your car’s media settings. This should stop Apple CarPlay from interrupting your radio.

That's a super common CarPlay problem.

It's annoying when it overrides your preferred radio station every time you unlock the car. Unfortunately, there's no single setting in CarPlay itself to directly stop this behavior. It seems to be how CarPlay prioritizes music playback. But some people have found workarounds. One thing to try is making sure the radio is playing before you turn off the car.

Sometimes, if the radio is the active audio source when you shut off the car, it's more likely to be the default when you start it again. You could also try creating a "silent" playlist in your phone's music library and selecting that in CarPlay. This might trick CarPlay into thinking no music should be playing. It's not a perfect solution, but it might be worth experimenting with. Hopefully, Apple will add a setting to control this behavior in a future update.
