Hello, drivers! Has your VW ID.7 ever turned the air cooling/heating system itself even if the ignition was off? It happened to me two times during the rain. I had to manually switch it off each time, and I was just sitting in the driver's seat. Could rain somehow affect the system?

The cooling system in my automobile once went on without warning when I was seated in the driver's seat during a period of intense rain, despite the ignition being off. I later discovered it to be a sensor problem related to the vehicle's climate control system responding to moisture...and the dealer said there was a software bug, which was fixed with an update.

Oh yes, fortunately or unfortunately, the Volkswagen ID.7's air conditioning system will activate when the vehicle key is detected nearby, even if the ignition is off.

Have you turned off the vents with the cold air? I’ve noticed the climate control works a bit differently in this car compared to others I’ve had. The dash/face vents keep blowing cold air, no matter what temperature I set on auto.
